Love it! Still not not sure how to "play" cassette files on it though. Really great retro experience...it makes one feel that computers can actually help to accomplish something great at home. Not like nowadays where it's mostly presentations and communication.

I set up THE400 Mini in about 15 minutes using the provided directions and had no issues with any of the documentation or the on-screen menu. Much better quality than the older retros I have for NES and Super NES. My wife used to love the K-razy Shootout cartridge game for the Atari 800 that I sold long ago, because it's easier to play than Atari Berserk, which is built in. I gave the download instructions a try and got the Shootout game onto USB drive in about 20 minutes. It ran perfectly the first time. I'd give THE400 Mini six stars if Amazon would let me!

I love this mini 400! The ability to load and run some of my old programs from the 80's is a huge bonus. It seems to be a fairly functional emulator, not just a package of games. I've had fun loading some old basic programs I typed in from magazines back in the day and running them again. Fun!

While I am expecting a full-size version of The 400, the Mini is a nice start. The emulation is definitely spot-on! I suggest that Retro Games works a way around what were membrane keys and deck out the full-size 400 with chicklet keys as seen on some of today's modern portable typing keyboards. Or it could deck out THE400 with Cherry-type keys as seen on the 800 big sister of the day. I also request Retro Games to launch a game controller with trackball.
