Honestly I'm pretty underwhelmed by these bell boots. In the end, they're serviceable – the quality of the material itself seems fine, and on par with others that I've used over the years. The sizing is accurate. The color is striking, and easy to find if they get ripped off. The velcro seems strong, if not quite as secure as the name brands. What really gets me is that these are no cheaper than those other brands. Bell boots get used and abused – even good quality boots will get torn apart and shredded over the course of a season if they're worn full-time. So a cheaper but decent-quality alternative would be welcome... but these are just slightly lower quality for right around the same price.In addition to that, they were packed flat, so when they arrived they were distorted to the point

Inexpensive and fit well. I've had some that lasted the and months of rugged use. My last couple of pairs did tear easier. I think the dark blue and black are a little more durable. The lighter colors seem to be a little more flimsy. Over all not a bad choice. My pastures are rougher terrain.

Reasonably affordable way to keep an expensive shoeing job safe!These boots are most helpful for protecting my mounts pricey shoe job from overreach and possibly pulling a shoe. He had quarter cracks and after heeling those and having padded, specialized shoes put on by the terrier, mymount lives in bell boots. These don't irritate. 19.99 is a very reasonable price for boots that will help protect your horse and help keep shoes in place. The velcro is pretty strong. Rubber wall is flexible. The large size fit on the 15.2 quarter horse I ride, well. The bright orange is bold--making it very visible, making it easier to find if kicked off.

Decent budget boots if the price is right; run a little large & not the best stitching. My daughter has a 16hh Thoroughbred gelding who wears a medium or large bell boot of this style, depending on the brand. These run on the upper side of the large spectrum from the variety of boots we've tried. We chose them as a back-up to a back-up, anyway, so it's not an issue.These are shipped in a box that shapes them into rectangles, unfortunately, so they won't be comfortable for your horse right out of the box. These are budget bell boots but they are decently well made and fitting considering the low price. I think they are a good value for what you get. Due to the material they may be better suited for shipping and riding than 24/7 wear.First the good: the fit is good, I bought the L and they fit as they should. The length in particular is good, not too long or short. The Velcro is sturdy and well attached. The bell boot material is thick and flexible enough I think it will hold up. The color is good for turnout, you will be able to find this bright baby blue in the field.The bad: they are very stiff, possibly too stiff for some horses with sensitive skin. The Velcro is only one strap so if it tears they are done, there is not second strap as a back up.
