Just nylon bushings, fit the mandrel OK and make finishing pens easier.

The last non-stick bushings I bought didn't quite fit on a 7mm spindle, but these are perfect. I finished a pen with them last night and the CA glue just slid right off them. I'm very pleased

These bushings are fantastic and do a great job resisting most glues.

I can’t say I have had much time working on pens behind my lathe to give this a thorough review. That being said, it seems like they are well-made and they worked well. The few times I have used them.

For anyone who does any sort of turning and likes to apply a CA finish these are an absolute must have item on your work bench! I debated on buying them for quite some time and one I did, I instantly regretted not buying them sooner! CA glue doesn't stick them at all, so when applying a finish too my pens I no longer have the problem of accidentally gluing my blanks and bushings together LOL! Anyway, I highly recommend these, they will save you a years worth of headaches and frustration!

I do not finish pens with CA, but these bushings are a huge improvement to my finishing process. EEE acts like a degreaser on steel bushings creating a black tar which ruins your finish and your micromesh pads. But EEE does not react at all with these plastic bushings, so I don't have to be so careful about where it goes. Also this way I don't have small amounts of metal dust from when bushings get sanded, making my finish grey. And the cone shape of these bushings allows you to easily access and finish the ends of your pieces unlike the flush steel bushings where you awkwardly try to sand the edges in a little valley. These bushings are a secret weapon to making excellent pens

I like these and would buy again but note that they are a very tight fit so be sure to place a regular bushing in between them so you can get a grip to remove them. They are very hard to slid on and off and I am afraid I am going to bend the mandrel moving them. After using them a while CA glue builds up on them. I soaked them in acetone and it cleaned them up like new.

These are very nice and well made. However, be advised they do not fit the Penn State Industries mandrel system. The center hole is too small to fit over my mandrel. They will fit over the threads, but stop at the solid body of the mandrel.
