This key fob shell was exactly what I needed. It fit my Chevy key perfectly, and the buttons line up just right. Swapping the internal components was quick and easy, and it saved me from buying a whole new remote. The shell feels sturdy and well-made, just like the original. Great value and highly recommended!

Straightforward and easy to swap out parts from the old one. My old one was cracked and kept falling open, so it was not an issue to get it open. The battery and board inside fit nicely in the new one, but it was very difficult to close. Not because the insides were too big, but more because it is just a very tight clip. I had to use a vice to get it closed, but I do not have any worries about it coming back open. Did not have the issue with the battery that others did.

Evidently the front shell wasn't molded to correct shape specification because it didn't fit with the rear half. No way I could force them together. Fortunately I learned that the back was molded correctly because I was able to use it (and the rubber pushbutton pad insert) with my old remote front shell and ckt card to assemble a functional remote. The back half on my old remote was the failure point, plastic was broken on the edge, it wouldn't stay assembled. The new back shell supplied replaced it perfectly, easily snapping into my old front shell. So two out of three parts on this product were usable but it was far from a 100% functional shell case.

It was easy to put the rubber face in and the inside electronics and battery. Had difficulty closing, snapping the front and back of the fob. Had to use 2 pliers one to hold the while used the other to snap around to snap the front and back together. Once it was all snap together the fob worked perfectly. Was able to lock the car doors from my bedroom which was about 30 feet from my car. Just when my old fob was new. Just love my new fob I don't have to be within 5-10 feet from my car to lock or unlock with the old fob. Would recommend this replacement fob case.

For the money, we’ll worth it. I have had to get another as it lasts about six months before the white diagram fades away on the buttons and the plastic part that holds the key ring starts to give.

The original key remote case for my 2011 Chevy Silverado 1500 was brittle and gradually crumbling away. I elected to try replacing the case itself before going the expense of substituting a completely new key remote that would have to be programmed by a locksmith. My original circuit board fit snugly into the new case (with new rubbery key membrane). The only difficulty I encountered was in mating the case back to the front half. It is a tight fit; I had to work my thumb along the edges of the back half to get the halves to "click" together. The result looks the same as the OEM, and the buttons all function as they should. Very pleased with cost and ease of replacement.
