Slow-moving plot with wooden acting, or overacting, with stilted dialogue and unrealistic script. Somewhere in a desloute part of Scotland, outside a small village an alien spacecraft crashes. The alien comes to the only pub in town and talks to the three people there. She is from Mars and because her own race is dying out, she is going to bring back to Mars a virile Earth man to breed with. Sounds OK, could happen right? Then the unrealistic part comes, all three men, young & old refuse and choose to fight her robot than go with the alien babe in the tight leather outfit. I can see it, sure! The film is from 1955 & is British so it is played rather stiff-upper lip. If it had been an American film it would have been so campy and over-the-top to rival a Ed Woods film. But, despite the poor quality of the actual recording and the slow pace, stiff acting & unrealistic plot, it is a "B" movie but no laughs here. One of the only reasons to view this film (other than the Devil Girl's costume) is to see the Devil Girl's sidekick Robot, who looks like one of those old 1950 coffee preculators but huge with a bad attitude and a perference for zapping people.
