Andis always delivers quality products I love this thing so much. It makes my face and my head so smooth. With and even against the grain it creates a smooth surface for a great feel. Material is great, solid quality as well, very durable. It is very easy to use as well. Not sure of the battery life as this is my first day with the product but I’m sure it will last. I shave my whole face and my entire head to, well pleased!

I've only used this razor for one shave (it arrived yesterday), and I can attest that this shaver is the first electric I've owned (Braun, Phillips, Panasonic) that provided a shave equal to the closeness of a bladed razor. The design allowed me to easily shave up to the edges of my chin goatee without having to touch up with a blade, as was the case with my previous electrics. I can't vouch for durability or longevity since it's new, but the shave itself is outstanding. On this basis, I highly recommend.

I've tried any method of shaving i can find, cartridge razors, electric razors (like a oneblade), safety razors, and i've found that no matter what, my neck is a bit sensitive. Going against the grain with any method leaves my skin a bit agitated, and can never really get a perfect shave. I've used just about every brand of shaver; Braun, Panasonic, Norelco, Remington, Wahl. While some were good, none of themhave given me as close and as comfortable as have as the Andis ReSurge.The ReSurge is an attractive shaver and the packaging is on a whole other level than any of the other brands. It is well-weighted and handles very well in my hands and holds a long charge which is displayed by three led lights. Unlike most other shavers, the foil head is "staggered" one blade is higher than the others. There is a third cutter for longer hairs in between the two blades. While the head does pivot, it doesn't pivot as easily as other pivoting head shavers I've used. It takes far more pressure to pivot the head on the ReSurge. I used to use the a regular shaver, and although the shave was the best in terms of closeness, I was often getting nicks and cuts. So I swapped to the Panasonic Arc4. It gave me a shave that was almost on par with a regular shaver. The problem was that the unit itself was expensive, and the replacement blades was too expensive for my blood as well.I've used several other shavers, and they either gave me nicks and cuts, or didn't give me the close shave I was looking for. I very rarely leave reviews but I just shaved my head using this product. I've been shaving my head since I was 25 and I'm now 52. I've tried the best Braun and the best Panasonic before the last new ones came out. They don't even come close to outperforming this beast of a razor.I had 4 days growth and was going to take it down with a trimmer but I tried using the razor to see what would happen. It ate through all the bulk with ease, didn't require many passes to get it as close as it could and a fully shaven head with beard outline took about 5mins. Extremely close and very comfortable shave! I dry shaved and didn't apply much pressure at all.
