These items are wonderful and worth the money, I use them for soap bottles, oil bottles, etc.

I am a huge oil and vinegar buyer from specialty stores. I bought these to help preserve and better pour the oils and vinegar. They are great! Haven't had a problem. Easy to clean, reuse, and put on new bottles when I use one up. I used to have the cork bottoms which wore down after 3 bottle uses, these I can use over and over. I go through my bottles quickly. They work on all sort of bottles. I haven't had a problem with the snugness or leaks.

These pour spouts are perfect for olive and canola oil and they don't leak! I was using the OXO pour spouts and while they are well made I found they leaked a lot. These are very good quality, work well, and the price is reasonable. Highly recommended.

The are perfect for pouring olive oil, either on the table (not too fast) or at the stove (not too slow). I use one with a refillable green glass bottle or a ceramic olive oil jug on the table to protect from light damage, another on a larger green glass bottle of olive oil that I keep on the rotating tray next to my stove for cooking, and yet another on a bottle of reduced balsamic vinegar also on the rotating tray. They close immediately to protect precious liquids and oils from air damage and dust. I looked for and considered these a long time before purchase because I had a lot of spigots, spouts, etc. in my drawers that leaked or left themselves open after pouring and I didn't want to add to my stash of imperfect implements. These fit nicely in EVOO specialty oil and balsamic vinegar bottles, but sometimes they leak. Still, they are WAY better quality all around than the cork style spouts that I can buy at that specialty store - their corks always got stuck in the bottle and broke, making the spout useless. I got sick ofbuying a new spout from them every time I buy a new bottle of EVOO oil or vinegar. These will be fine - I just can't figure out why I get leaks once in a while. The mechanism that covers the tip is nice and sturdy - works very well - WAY better than those expensive spouts at the specialty oil store!

We bought these after trying out a few different types of pourers. We cleaned out a few wine bottles to use as oil and vinegar containers, and needed something to stick in the top and help direct and control the flow of the liquids. These worked PERFECTLY. We did NOT like the other ones we have tried. Benefits of these:1) AUTO-CLOSING - These weighted pourers have a little cap that has a weight attached so that when you put down the bottle, it closes over the hole. This might not be super important for oils, but for vinegar, it really is. Fruit flies LOVE vinegar, and you need some way to keep them out.
