So good! Not great for big calves, sizing is on the money!

I studied before I bought this boot, and I tried many others. One ARIAY was too short, still a good boot.I have many.THE SIZING FOR DURANGO IS ABSOLUTELY CORRECT because it allows the wearer to move and flex his toes. My heel is snug but moves about 1/4 inch as I walk. My toes still dig in to make walking normal for “me.” If it were tighter or smaller it just would not work for me. So depending on what “you” want, sizing down is personal. Slender and narrow may not love this boot. JUSTIN is slender and narrow. I absolutely love this gorgeous piece of leather. Very easy to get in and out of. I immediately bought the orthopedic insole of my choice. This boot requires no breakin. I waterproofed them and I’m so happy with them. I wanted to sleep in them.

Durango packs their boots well. They came well packaged with the feet stuffed, shaft stays, tissue paper, and the original box inside of another box to protect the boots during shipping. A+ for packaging.These run long. I tried on the 8.5 (I wear 8.5 to 9). They fit width wise, but the boots were to me like banana long in the foot. I tried using an insole to take up the slack. I could actually use a thick cushy insole with arch support and cupped heel; which, then they did fit, but the bones in my foot bulged out though the leather. They are just too long, so to take up the slack using full length thick inserts becomes a problem as when it fits so it does not slide, then it's too tight in the width.I had a size 8 in these years ago in brown, and I had to use a rubber mallet to pound out …

I’ve been wanting these for a long time but just never could really afford them, so they’ve been on my wish list. For Christmas I got some money and I saw the price for these on Amazon was a lot less than any other place so I got them and I’m so, so happy I did!! They are everything I’d hoped for in a boot! They run a little big and normally I wear a size 8 so I purchased size 7.5 and they fit perfect! The quality is amazing and they’re stiff at first but they break in and conform to your foot, and they’re bad ass lol 😁 I’m a medium width foot and calves, but if you have extra big calves they might be a little tight?I think these are the best boots ever!!

Based on the reviews saying these run large, I ordered a size 8 — but they were still a bit too big. The inside has very little to no padding or insole, which made them feel a little big and flat at first.However, I really liked the quality of the exterior and the sole (very sturdy and well-made), so I decided to order some insoles made for Frye boots. After trimming them slightly to fit the toe area, I slipped them in and voila — perfect fit! One star due to quality. I wailed 10 months to write this review to be accurate.I finally broke down and bought these to replace a pair I had had for 20 years. I finally had to give those up after they became moldy due to a place we lived. I wore these new ones regularly for a couple of months.The quality of these replacements is shameful and they are 2 inches shorter than their predecessor with the same style number. The leather is almost rubbery (it felt fake) and has hardly moved/broken in at all. They fit fine though (I'm a 6.5-7) and there was no break in period which is the only bonus.The harness rings are now PLASTIC which isn't even a connected/solid ring. So I bought a pair of Frye boots (for $180) and when I received them they were too big. I had to return them (no exchanges allowed), and when I went to buy the smaller size, the price of the boots went up to $238! So that's when I did some researching and found these FANTASTIC boots. I bought these for about 100 bucks- what a deal! When I opened up the box I was extremely happy with the boots; I can tell they are very high quality.
