The Extra Heavy Duty Double Ply Carry Belt by Versacarry is handcrafted from top grade vegetable-tanned leather, from USA Hides. You'll recognize the top quality American craftsmanship of this belt the first time you hold it. The stability provided from a double ply carry belt is unmatched, when compared to single ply belts. The crafting process for each Double Ply belt begins by thinning leather to an exacting tolerance and removing any deviation in hide thickness. Following this process, each layer is glued together thus forming a solid piece of leather, less prone to stretch and wear. After curing, the two layers of leather are stitched together using premium heavy grade bonded nylon thread. Double ply belts take the most time to produce, but the results are worth every hour. Belts are 1.5" wide and approximately 16 oz. thick to provide excellent support for carrying a firearm. Belts come standard with 7 holes 1" apart, offering a large range of adjust-ability which is perfect for increasing and decreasing waistline tension when carrying a weapon. All belts are equipped with nickel plated roller buckles, a must for any heavy built belt. If you want to use a custom buckle no problem, all Versacarry belts come standard with military grade nickel plated snaps. These tough snaps add great retention and eliminate the problems associated with Chicago style screws coming loose. All leather is drum dyed and struck all the way through for a lasting color that ages beautifully. Leather is a natural product and inconsistent in nature so exact color and characteristics may vary from hide to hide. In this attribute lies the true beauty of leather with no two exactly alike.
