About the Artist BILL ‘ Sputnik’ SPOONER original founding member and songwriter extrodinaire of THE TUBES. Bill’s songs: WHITE PUNKS ON DOPE and WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM LIFE kept the TUBES on tour throughout their A&M Records years. Signed to CAPITOL Records and produceed by David Foster the TUBES finally acheived a Billboard #1 ROCK chart record with SHE’S A BEAUTY. The TUBES also made it to the top 5 Billboard Rock charts with TALK TO YA LATER.
