Have you ever wanted to try crabbing but didn’t have a boat? Have you ever done it with a fishing pole? Imagine hanging out on the beach and reeling in something other than a fish and preparing a crab dish for the family dinner tonight. Growing up in San Francisco Bay Area, we have caught crabs in many areas along the west coast, from the jetty, piers and surf. We have used both hoop nets and castable crab traps. Hoop nets are only best when you have a boat, but on land, it would be our crab traps hands down, as your can hunt from anywhere while people tend to crowd up at the piers. We have tested several different products and experimented with a variety of materials to create something that has everything we want in our product. Most important of all, we wanted to have a great time catching crabs with friends and family and not fixing things. We want the same for you.
