Legg has assembled an electro-acoustic instrument from spare parts, to hear his liner notes tell it, and this makes for some interesting, if not wholly captivating listening. While his stroking of the strings is often elegant as well as exciting, it's just Legg and his guitar -- no rhythm and a little too much freedom at the expense of totally distinctive melodies. This will be most palatable for guitar freaks looking for something unique.
