George Barris created some of the most iconic vehicles to ever race across the silver screen. Including 1966 Batmobile, Munster Koach, and the Monkeemobile. His first full custom was a used 1936 Ford convertible before he even graduated from high school. George Barris’s brother, Sam, chopped the op on his own ’49 Merc, creating the classic look that is still revered today.
