Exterior lever includes an emergency release for safety, while the inside lever always remains free for immediate, unobstructed egress—ideal for commercial and residential interior applications. ADA COMPLIANT & NON-HANDED DESIGN: Fully ADA compliant for barrier-free accessibility. Non-handed lever fits both left- and right-swing doors, simplifying installation and making it a versatile choice for new construction or retrofit projects. FITS STANDARD COMMERCIAL DOORS: Designed for standard 161 door prep with a 2-1/8″ bore. Fits doors 1-3/8″ to 1-3/4″ thick and includes a UL 3-hour fire-rated 2-3/4″ backset latch (optional 2-3/8″ backset sold separately). COMPLETE INSTALLATION KIT INCLUDED: Box includes privacy lever, thru bolts, strike plate, latch, dust box, screw packs, mounting template, and instructions.
