The juju hat was traditionally worn by chiefs and subjects of high standing during traditional ceremonies in Western Cameroon. They signified great wealth and commanded respect from the locals.  Meticulously handmade from chicken feathers, these absolutely stunning artworks today have transcended into breathtaking wall decor masterpieces.  Feathers are washed in cleaning agent, dried and individually hand stitched into a raffia base.  using traditional tribal methods – Folds nicely into a compact, drum shape that protects the feathers. This is a set of 4 juju hats, soft white in 24″ x2 and tan in 16″ x2.
